Besides those, you can see all sorts of masks, puppets, hundreds of teeny tiny toy cars everywhere, at the bar or even besides your table. There are funny black-and-white photos hanging on the walls, you don’t even know who those people are. The whole concept is intended to create a cozy atmosphere. ![]() You may think that you may be overwhelmed by this teeny tiny space, it is not true at all. If you do not have any reservation, I recommend you to go there between 18:00 and 19:30 o’clock.įerdi Restaurant has a capacity for 15-20 people inside, but they also put a few tables in front of the restaurant. Also frequented by the famous people, it is hard to find an empty table after 9 pm. After a dazzling tour in Louvre Museum, Ferdi Restaurant is an ideal place for you to refresh your energy at.Īlthough its location is hard to find, this gourmet stopover has a popularity bigger than its tiny space. Rather, it’s a contraction of the name “Ferdinand”. Don’t be mistaken by its name, it is not the Turkish name Ferdi. That being the case, if you put all these cute collectibles together and add to this collection the best burger in Paris, it is inevitable that people will line up before your door.įerdi Restaurant is a tiny gourmet destination on Mont-Thabor Street. You can easily see their eyes sparkling with admiration. Because once the treasury is unveiled and meets the onlookers, even those who call you crazy cannot take their eyes off of the collectibles. Out of such curiosity I also found myself in a house filled with memories in the form of thousands of long play records, Pirelli calendars, restaurant menus, cigar rings, rosaries, fountain pens, numerous door cards from the hotels in every country I’ve been to, and miscellaneous muselets.Īlthough some may call collectors crazy, we can easily turn a deaf ear to them. The scope of collecting bears no limits: napkins with elaborate patterns, if one does not have the heart to use and simply throw it away movie tickets that you shared with your beloved ones vinyl records like Müzeyyen Senar’s, played over a delightful dinner uniforms which won’t ever go into a washing machine because the signatures on them might be washed away comic books that one can enjoy reading in every age corks with sketchy notes one them written after guzzling a bottle of wine… PS We had a birthday party here too - absolutely brilliant and I barely had to lift a finger! Perfect. There is a thin line between being a collector and going mental.Īs a matter of fact, the more obsessive one becomes, the better collector s/he is. We've missed it and can't wait for its post lockdown reopening! Fantastic play equipment, interactive fun, role play with shops and dressing up and even a sensory room. We've been going every Friday for nearly a year (apart from lockdown, obviously) and it's a favourite for me and Stanley. It's a safe, fun environment for my son to enjoy and explore and I even get to relax with a coffee (and a cheeky bacon roll) while he is off with his sister or making friends. One2Eleven is clean, friendly, well run and excellent value for money. I've been to many soft play areas over my 16 years of mumhood, spent several years as trade account manager for Legoland, Thorpe Park and Chessington World of Adventures and was editor of Raring2go! parent magazine and directory so have been invited to review many kids' play spaces.īut I choose to go to this one and I even do it regularly (with my 3 and 11 year children, not on my own!) It’s intense having a young child with speech delay, and lots of energy, so it’s a winning package to have somewhere that provides a smile, a nice mocha, and a safe place for Alex to be his unique self (plus there is free WiFi for if our 10 year old ventures here with us!).Ī biggest thank you to Dean, Dena, Lucy, Harvey and Andrea and all of the staff for making us, especially little A, feel so safe and welcome, as him feeling comfortable in a space is often half the battle. The littlest things make the biggest difference, and here that happens. Which is a positive step for a little chap who could possibly be seen as having autistic behaviours. Alex is comfortable here and gives the staff high fives. I’m on first name terms with most, and they know me and our sons’ names too - welcoming, patient, understanding and always a listening ear as I walk in the door. Hot chocolate is fab, and the staff are just amazing. He has a LOT of energy, and so loves it here. My youngest is very limited speech - and so bringing back his social skills with other children is key. With a 4 year old and 10 year old, life is often difficult to balance, and 1-11 make it possible. It’s the running joke between friends that I’m here all of the time - it’s becoming our second home!
